I am a family law attorney who first began doing Guardian Ad Litem work while volunteering with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation. Soon after I began volunteer Guardian work, I also began obtaining Guardian appointments in my private practice. My experience in litigating high-conflict custody cases equipped me with the necessary tools to serve in the role as Guardian, and I quickly fell in love with serving families in that capacity.
I graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law and am currently in the family law section of both the Gwinnett County Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. I practice all throughout metro Atlanta and the surrounding areas.
As a mother of two biological children and a foster parent, I understand the indescribable importance of protecting children, making sure their voices are heard, and advocating for their best interest. Family law cases take an inevitable toll on everyone involved, and children often take the brunt of the damage, despite parents’ best efforts. I make it my goal to work effectively with the adults in the case, while ensuring the child’s best interest remain at the forefront of my recommendations.
